My initial room had a backyard view instead of the promised garden view, disappointing. After a couple of days, I was finally moved to a room with the correct view. Staff shortages affected bar service, limiting my experience. I also felt there should be clearer information about hotel amenities provided at check-in.

It was a bright and clean hotel with an attached restaurant. The staff was lovely and very kind and provided welcoming service.

I really liked how clean everything was, especially my Twin Room. The room had a great view of the sea and a lovely balcony, made morning coffee a pleasure. Vicky at reception was super helpful, always ready to accommodate my needs. Breakfast impressed me with its variety, especially the fresh bread and local jam. The pool area was a nice spot to unwind after a day at the beach. I did face an annoying issue with my initial room assignment. I was promised a garden view but got a backyard view instead. Fortunately, after a couple of days, I finally received a room with the view I expected. Bar service was also a letdown due to staff shortages, disappointing. A no-smoking area in the breakfast room would really help too.

Spotless and fashionable units with an excellent view over the sea. Exceptionally comfortable beds, incredible staff, satisfactory breakfast. Early check-in, parking nearby. Location just off the beach, the bus stop and restaurants, Plakias as part of tour down to the south of the island, and Tavernas.
Wi-Fi was weak.

The hotel is just steps away from the beach, offering excellent sunbeds. The breakfast lacked variety and quality.

Great value for money, clean, next to the beach. All rooms have a/c and balcony.
Some rooms don't have refrigerators, as advertised. Pool sometimes gets dirty and is not cleaned frequently enough. Some bathrooms don't have a separate shower and can thus get messy when showering.

Spent 7 days in a double room with breakfast for 60 euros in August 2011. The best think is the location, right on the beach and in village's centre. Old hotel recently renovated with a very small pool. The breakfast was continental but very poor in terms of quality and variety. A really 2 stars hotel with all staff friendly but not well trained, they were all immigrants and simply did their best. There is also a snack bar at the ground floor serving food which I would not recommend but it is cheap. The food offered has nothing to do with Crete. The number 1 restaurant in the area is "Platia" at the center of the Myrthios village, 2 km. Out of Plakias with superb views over the bay. Do not miss it, it serves reall, home made Cretan food and has reasonable prices.

The strongest point of this hotel is that located a few steps from the sea.
Cleanliness is an issue for this hotel, especially the smell. A small renovation will improve a lot the total image of the hotel.

Great location, right on the beach and free sunbeds if you eat at the hotel (just an omelette or breakfast qualifies). Also pool available, with free sunbeds.
All a bit tired and shabby, but for the price no real complaints. If you want tea/coffee you need to bring your own travel kettle, and ice bags/tray for the fridge.
